Obituary of Yaneisa Velazquez

Yaneisa Daisy Velazquez, age 20, currently of Waterbury but mostly a lifetime Bridgeport resident passed away into the peaceful rest of the Lord on March 6, 2012 in her home. Yaneisa was born in Bridgeport to the late Shaun Reed and Cheryl Velazquez of Bridgeport; in addition to her mother she is survived by her Grandmother Carmen Velazquez of West Palm Beach, FL; her Aunt Doraine Reed of Bridgeport; her daughter Ja'nye Velazquez of Bridgeport; her brothers Jesmar Velazquez and Shaun Reed; Sisters Shandra Velazquez, Ginelle Robles and Shaunisa Reed, Shaneka Lynch and Shanae Lynch; Ms. Patsy whom she considered like a mother to her; More Uncles and Aunts, Thomas Ray, Valencia Louisy, Marion O. Reed, Wilder C. Reed, Lawanda Reed, Percy V. Reed, Robert Gardner, Willie D. Reed, David Laracuente, Myra Febus, Miriam Vega, Marina Perez, Ralphie Perez, Aunt Nelly; her Nephews Jamal Weir Jr., Taria Velazquez, Amir Velazquez, and Kayshaun Jr.; her cousins Joseph Martinez and Nicholas Garcia; and a host friends who will sorely miss her; In addition to her father she was predecease by her grandparents the late Willie M. Reed and the late Charlie R. Ray; Friends are invited to attend calling hours on Wednesday, March 14, 2012 from 7-9 P.M. at the Funeraria Luz de Paz, (Peaceful Light Funeral Home), 426 E. Washington Ave., Bridgeport; A Funeral Service will take place on Friday, March 16, 2012 beginning at 10:00 A.M.
