Obituary of Aida Rivera
Aida L. Cortes, Age 55, of Bridgeport passed into the eternal rest of the Lord on Thursday, October 29, 2009 in her home. Aida is the daughter of Antonio Cortes of Bayamon, Puerto Rico and Maria Rivera of Bridgeport; She has been an employee of Sikorsky Aircraft for many years; In addition to her parents she is survived by her loving daughter Maria Zoraida Gomez of Winter Garden, Florida; brothers Jose A. Cortes, Juan A. Cortes and Brian Cortes; sister Carmen L. Cortes; three grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends who will sorely miss her. A Memorial service will be held on Tuesday, November 3, 2009 beginning at 7:00 P.M. at the Iglesia Principe de Paz, 29 Ash Street, Bridgeport; Final disposition will be private at the convenience of the family.
