Obituary of Julio Martinez-Coriano
Julio M. Coriano, age 73, of Bridgeport passed away suddenly on January 5, 2011 in San Lorenzo, Puerto Rico while vacationing with his beloved wife Cristobalina Coriano; Julio was a great man, father and friend who loved baseball and had played many years ago for the La Rosa Cayey Baseball Team at Seaside Park. He enjoyed Horse racing and spending time with his family; Julio was born in Aguas Buenas, Puerto Rico before moving to the Bridgeport area many years ago. In addition to his wife he is survived by his sons Julio Martinez, Javier Martinez and his wife Sonia of South Carolina, Julio Martinez Jr. and Javish Iglesias and his wife Maria of Bridgeport; his daughter Magaly Sierra and her husband Manuel of Bridgeport; seven grandchildren; nine great grandchildren and a host of relatives and friends who will dearly miss him. Friends are invited to attend calling hours on Friday, January 14, 2011 and Saturday, January 15, 2011 from 5-7:30 P.M. at the Funeraria Luz de Paz, ( La Funeraria de NUESTRO Pueblo ), 426 E. Washington Ave., Bridgeport; final disposition will be private at the convenience of the family.
