Obituary of Isabel Carrasquillo

Carrasquillo- Isabel Cintron Carrasquillo, age 69, of Bridgeport, passed into eternal rest with the Lord, on Sunday, November 7, 2010, at Bridgeport Hospital. Isabel was born in San Juan, Puerto Rico to the late Nicolas and Juana Nunez Carrasquillo, before moving to the Bridgeport area. She was the proud owner of Pueblo Supermarket in Bridgeport. Isabel was a loving and generous woman, who above all loved the Lord and her family. She was involved throughout her community and the St. Mary’s Youth Group. Isabel’s memory will be cherished by her son, Nelson Castro Carrasquillo, and his wife, Gay Lovette; her daughters, Margarita Castro Carrasquillo and Ines Reyes; four grandchildren, Marissa and Jorge Reyes, Victor Antonio Morales-Castro, and Isamar Morales-Castro. She was predeceased by a son, Hector Castro-Carrasquillo. Calling hours for Isabel will be held on Friday, November 12, 2010, from 6-8 pm at the Funeraria Luz de Paz (La Funeraria Nuestra) in Bridgeport. Funeral services will take place on Saturday, November 13, 2010, beginning at 8:00 am in the funeral home. He mass of Christian Burial will be at 9:00 am at St. Mary’s Church. Interment will follow at St. Michael’s Cemetery.
