Obituary of Ana Mercado

Ana M. Mercado, age 64, of Stratford, passed away into the peaceful rest of the Lord on Wednesday, February 29, 2012 in St. Vincent's Medical Center; Ana is the beloved wife of Misael Mercado; She was born in Yauco, Puerto Rico before relocating to the Stratford area many years ago. She is the daughter of the late Pedro A. Lopez and the late Mercedes Rodriguez; In addition to her husband she is survived by her sons Jose A. Santiago, Santin Santiago, and Misael Mercado Jr.; her daughters Ana M. Santiago, Griselle Santiago, Sindia M. Acosta, Siomairy D. Mercado and Anita M. Mercado; fourteen grandchildren and five great grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends who will dearly miss her. Friends are invited to attend calling hours on Thursday, (TODAY), March 1, 2012 from 7-9 P.M. at the Funeraria Luz de Paz, (Peaceful Light Funeral Home), 426 E.
