Obituary of Juan Maldonado

Juan A. Maldonado, age 57, of Bridgeport passed away into the Peaceful Rest of the Lord on Wednesday, October 19, 2011 in St. Vincent's Medical Center. Juan was born in Rio Piedras, Puerto Rico but had moved into the Bridgeport area many years ago. Juan was a talented musician who focused his efforts on developing the music program at the church he attended which was Blessed Sacrament Church; He was a great man with a heart of Gold who will be missed by many. He is survived by his wife Magda A. Maldonado of Bridgeport; Two Sons Juan A. Maldonado Jr. and Eddy Garcia both of Bridgeport; Two Daughters Sonia E. Maldonado and Alba Henderson both of Bridgeport; Brothers Francisco Sotomayor of Bridgeport, Alberto Maldonado and Agustin Maldonado Jr. of Naugatuck, CT; Sister Isabel Santiago of Puerto Rico; 12 grandchildren and many other friends and family who will sorely miss him. Friends are invited to attend calling Hours on Monday, October 24, 2011, from 6-8 P.M. at the Funeraria Luz de Paz, (Peaceful Light Funeral Home ), 426 E.
