Obituary of Eligio Aviles

Eligio "Yiyo" Aviles, age 55, of Bridgeport passed into the peaceful rest of the Lord on thursday, December 10, 2009 in Bridgeport Hospital. Yiyo was born in Adjuntas, Puerto Rico before moving into the Bridgeport area many years ago. He is the son of the late Felix Aviles and the Late Francisca Arroyo; Eligio was a Loving family man who will be sorely missed. He is survived by his sons Eligio Aviles Jr, Felix Aviles, Santos Aviles, Jose A. Aviles, Daniel Aviles, & Alex C. Aviles; His daughter Madeline F. Aviles; His Brother Antonio Aviles; his sisters Georgina Aviles and Olga Aviles; His former wife Cristina Wilhelan; nine grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends who will dearly miss him. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, December 17, 2009 beginning at 8:30 A.M. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial; Interment will follow in Park Cemetery, Bridgeport; Friends are invited to attend calling hours on Wednesday, December 16, 2009 from 7-9 P.M. at the Funeral Home.
