Obituary of Elvira Alvarado

Elvira Alvarado, age 92, of Hamden, CT passed away into the peaceful rest of the Lord on October 27, 2010 in Yale New Haven Hospital. Elvira was born on November 12, 1917 in San Jose, Costa Rica then moving to the United States since 1973. She had served God in the Congregation of Yahweh on 629 Noble Avenue in Bridgeport for 28 years. She is survived by her son Jose Rafael; daughters Celia, Maria, Eugenia, Emilia & Rita; her grandchildren Manfred, Rita, Marianela, Priscilla and Ivan; great grandchildren Christopher, Joseph, Sarah, Paul, Sarah, Rebecca, Jessica, Jorge and Ali; and a host of other relatives and friends who will dearly miss her. Friends are invited to attend calling hours on Sunday, October 31, 2010 from 6-8 P.M. at the Funeraria Luz de Paz, ( La Funeraria Nuestra ), 426 E.
