Obituary of Iris Perez Rivera

Iris Perez Rivera, age 87, currently of Shelton, CT, Passed away into the peaceful rest of the Lord on Saturday, Feb. 18, 2012 in Gardner Heights Nursing Facility in Shelton, CT; Iris was born in Las Marias, Puerto Rico before relocating to CT many years ago. She is the daughter of the late Manuel Perez and the late Julia Rivera; she is survived by her son Santos Garcia and his wife Elba Garcia; two daughters Sonia Garcia and Miosotis Sepulveda and her husband Caleb Sepulveda; her grandchildren Santos H. Garcia and his wife Frances, Francis J. Garcia and his wife Gloriluz, Yaritza Garcia Rosa and her husband Billy, Elizabeth Hernandez, Maribel Acevedo and Zonaly Rosario; great grandchildren Limarie Rivera, Eric E. Acevedo, Mabel Jorge, Edgardo Acevedo, Sonialy Jorge, Derek Acevedo , Neysa Ducos, Luis F. Rosario Jr., and Cynthia Rosario; great great grandchildren Jvan Montanez, Ahlasia Montanez, Eli Montanez, Destiny Acevedo, Ayanna Rivera, Amanda Rivera, Anthony Aceved, Jiles Sabater, and Dior Sabater; and a host of other relatives and friends who will sorely miss her. Friends are invited to attend calling hours on Monday, February 20, 2012 from 7-9 P.M. at the Funeraria Luz de Paz, (Peaceful Light Funeral Home), 426 E.
