Obituary of Valerie Febus

Valerie M. Febus, age 15, a lifelong resident of Bridgeport passed away into Peaceful rest on Monday, October 17, 2011 in St. Vincent's Medical Center. Valerie was a creative and talented young student who currently attended Bullard Havens Technical High School; She is the daughter of Nelson Febus and Ericka Sanchez both of Bridgeport; In addition to her parents she is survived by her paternal grandparents Nemesio and Iris Febo of Bridgeport; Maternal Grandparents Lucy Ocasio and Cano Sanchez; Three Brothers Nelson Febo, Zachariah Febus and Nicolai Febus all of Bridgeport; One sister Melina Febus of Bridgeport; Uncles Orlando Febus, Ismael Sanchez and Jorge Sanchez; Aunts Omayra Rivera, Sandra Febus, Mildred Sanchez, Jessica Sanchez and Stephanie Sanchez; and many many other relatives and friends who will dearly miss her. Friends are invited to attend calling hours on Thursday, October 20, 2011 from 7-9 P.M. at the Funeraria Luz de Paz (Peaceful Light Funeral Home), 426 E. Washington Ave, Bridgeport; Funeral services have been scheduled for Friday, October 21, 2011 beginning at 9:00 A.M. at the Funeral Home followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Charles Barromeo Church; Interment will follow in Lakeview Cemetery, Bridgeport, CT; Please sign our online Book of Memories that has been established for Valerie where you may share your thoughts, memories, prayers, pictures, see a memorial video and much more and is EXCLUSIVELY and ONLY found at www.luzdepaz.com; Instead (in Lieu) of Flowers the family request that memorial donations be made DIRECTLY to the Funeral Home.
