Obituary of Juan Gonzalez

Juan R. Gonzalez, age 60, of Bridgeport Entered into the Peaceful Rest of the Lord on Sunday, January 22, 2012 in his home while surrounded by his loving family. Juan was born in Vega Alta, Puerto Rico to the late Juan R. Gonzalez and the late Bernarda Gonzalez before moving to the Bridgeport area many years ago; He is the beloved husband of Evelyn Gonzalez whom he married over 35 years ago. In addition to his beloved wife he is also survived by one son Leonaldo Gonzalez of Bridgeport; his daughter Ana D. Gonzalez of Bridgeport; two grandchildren Leonaldo A. Gonzalez and Giselle A. Gonzalez; his brothers Rafael, Wilfredo, Luis Osvaldo and Juan Gonzalez; sisters Rosa, Maria M., Maria (Sharo), Maria D. and Andrea Gonzalez; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends who will dearly miss him. Friends are invited to attend calling hours on Tuesday, (TODAY), January 24, 2012 from 7-9 P.M. at the Funeraria Luz de Paz, (Peaceful Light Funeral Home), 426 E. Washington Ave., Bridgeport; Funeral services have been scheduled for Wednesday, January 25, 2012 beginning at 9:00 A.M. at the Funeral Home followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in ST. Agustine's Cathedral; Interment will follow in ST.
