Obituary of Jose Solano

Jose Solano, age 61, of Bridgeport passed away into peaceful rest on Sunday, December 25, 2011 in Bridgeport Hospital. Jose was born in New York City, NY but had relocated to the Bridgeport area many years ago. He is the son of the late Jose R. Solano and Luz Arroyo Colon of Naugatuck, CT; in addition to his mother he is survived by his son Jose Isaias Solano of Stratford, CT; Two daughters Delila Solano and Linette Solano of Bridgeport; His former wife, mother of his children and friend Minerva Garcia Solano; one brother Hector Solano of Florida; two sisters Denise Solano and Esmaelen Mercado; five grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends who will dearly miss him. Jose was predeceased by his daughter the late Solangel "Angie" Solano and two brothers the Late David Solano and the late Rafael Solano; Friends are invited to attend calling hours on Thursday, December 29, 2011 from 7-9 P.M. at the Funeraria Luz de Paz, (Peaceful Light Funeral Home), 426 E. Washington Ave. Bridgeport; final Disposition will take place on Friday, December 30, 2011 at 2:30 P.M.
