Obituary of Ramona Cosme

Ramona Cosme, age 85 of Bridgeport, entered into eternal rest on Friday, September 15, 2017 at Bridgeport Hospital. She was the beloved wife of the late Pedro Cosme. Ramona was born in Caguas, Puerto Rico; daughter of the late Enrique Belpre and Dolores Almodovar prior to relocating to the Bridgeport area. She is the loving mother of Pedro (Nancy) Cosme, Bernardo (Maria) Medina, Olga (George) Alcover, Lydia (Jose) Berrios, and Margie (Robert) Malave; the caring grandmother of 23 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren; and the sister of Domingo Santana. Ramona was predeceased by her children, Raymond Cosme and Wilfredo "Freddy" Cosme. Friends are invited to attend Calling Hours on Thursday, September 21, 2017  from 7 to 9 p.m. at the Funeraria Luz de Paz, 426 E. Washington Ave., Bridgeport, CT 06608. Services are scheduled for 10 am.m on Friday, September 22, 2017 DIRECTLY at St. Mary's Church, 25 Sherman Street, Bridgeport, CT 06608. Her burial will follow at Mt.
