Obituary of Carmen Padilla

Carmen M. Padilla, age 89, of Bridgeport passed away into the Glorious presence of the Lord Jesus on, Wednesday, July 26, 2017 in her home while surrounded by her loving family. Carmen was born in Manati, Puerto Rico to the late Elias Rodriguez and the Late Francisca Laureano, but had relocated to the Bridgeport area many years ago. She is the beloved widow of the late Valentin Padilla; Carmen is survived by her sons Ismael Padilla, Rafael Padilla and Valentin Padilla; Her daughters Juanita Padilla, Carmen D. Padilla and Nilsa Padilla; sixteen grandchlidren, 28 great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews relatives and friends whom will dearly miss her; Friends are invited to attend calling hours on Friday, July 28, 2017 beginning at 11:00 A.M. at the Funeraria Luz de Paz, (PEaceful Light Funeral Home), followed by Funeral service in the funeral home at 1:00 P.M.
