Obituary of Rita Collazo

Rita Collazo, age 86, of Bridgeport, passed into the peaceful Glorious Presence of the Lord on Sunday, June 25, 2017 in Bridgeport Hospital, Bridgeport, CT; Rita was born in Villalba, Puerto Rico but had relocated to the Bridgeport area many years ago with her husband the late Ernesto Collazo; Rita was a loving woman who loved her family and spending some quality moments with each and every one of them. She had volunteered at Luis Muñoz Marin School for 10 years as"Foster" Grandma. her contagious smile will never be forgotten! Rita is survived by her children, Nestor Iran Collazo, Iris Ivette Collazo, Hector Collazo, Leyda Rosa Hernandez, Aurea Esther Velez, Ernesto Collazo, Jr., Eddsson Collazo (Dillian), Ramon Antonio Collazo, Carmen Daisy Llera (Rev. Victor Llera), Ana L. Collazo, Ada Awilda Ramos (Efrain), Edwardo "Eddie" Collazo; Hilda M.
