Obituary of Jason Nieves

Jason Nieves, age 28, of Bridgeport passed away into the presence of the Lord on June 7, 2017; Jason was a lifelong Bridgeport resident; He is the son of Steven Nieves (stepmom Inez Nieves) and the late Susana Sanchez, and although mom had passed at an early age He was raised by Milagros Fred, his grandmother who as stated raised him as her son. Jason was a great young man with a good heart. He was gifted in so many ways and each day had been committed to advance his education and move to bigger and greater things. In addition to his father and grandma Jason is survived by his one daughter Skii Nieves whom he adored; his girlfriend and mother of his daughter Jeannette Colon; his brothers Steven Nieves, Jr., David Nieves, Frankie Pinero, William Martinez, Eric Martinez, Joel Martinez and Julian Torres; His sisters Malene Sanchez and Priscilla Bonnett; Paternal Grandfather Esteban Nieves; Aunts and Uncles Carmencita Seda, Jimmie Crespo, Lee Sanchez, Mariano Sanchez, Maria Sanchez, Benigno Davila, Elizabeth Torres, Jessica Nieves and Michael Nieves; and many other friends and family members who will sorely miss him. In addition to his mother Jason was predeceased by his grandmother the late Angela Cruz; Friends may attend calling hours which have been scheduled for Friday, June 16, 2017 from 7-9 P.M. at the Funeraria Luz de Paz, (Peaceful Light Funeral Home), 426 E. Washington Ave., Bridgeport, CT; Funeral services have been scheduled for Saturday, June 17, 2017 beginning at 10:00 A.M. at the Funeral Home followed by interment in Park Cemetery, Bridgeport, CT at 11:00 A.M.
