Obituary of Joseph Wright, Sr.

Joseph Wright, age 82,  of Stratford, entered into eternal rest on Sunday, June 4, 2017 at St. Vincent's Medical Center. He was the beloved husband of Thelma Wright. Joseph was born in Orangeburg, South Carolina; He is the son of Jesse and Mary Wright & the loving father of David Wright, Joseph Wright Jr., Vivian Smith Wade, Robert Wright, Deborah Rodgers, and Patricia Wright; a caring grandfather of 8 grandchildren also survived by 6 great grandchildren; In addition he is also survived by his brothers William Wright, Leo Wright, Wimsey Wright, Mary Rickenbacker, and Daisy Felder. and a host of other relatives and friends whom will dearly miss him.  Friends are invited to attend calling hours on Friday, June 16, 2017 beginning at 10:00 A.M. until 1:00 P.M. at the Funeraria Luz de Paz, (Peaceful Light Funeral Home), 426 E. Washington Ave, Bridgeport, CT. A funeral homegoing service will follow in the funeral home at 1:00 P.M. followed by interment in Lakeview Cemetery, Bridgeport, CT.
