Obituary of Victor M. Colon

Victor M. Colon, age 68, of Bridgeport, entered into eternal rest on June 6, 2017 at Bridgeport Hospital, Bridgeport, CT. Victor was born in Ponce, Puerto Rico to Carmen Rubero and the late Victor Pablo Colon. Our Father was a very strong, exemplary, hardworking, and above all humble man, but unfortunately a terminal cancer not detected in time took his life. In addition to his mother he is also survived by his children Marina Colon, Judis Colon, Carmen Colon, and Victor Colon, Jr.; his siblings Pablo Colon Nilma Colon, Aurea Colon, Carmen Nereida Colon, Carmen Iris Colon, Gladys Colon, and Manuel Serrano; ten grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends that will miss him dearly. Friends are invited to attend calling hours on Wednesday, June 21, 2017, from 10 a.m. - 12:45 p.m. at the Funeraria Luz de Paz, (Peaceful Light Funeral Home), 426 E. Washington Ave., Bridgeport, CT. The Funeral Mass will commence at 1 p.m. at St. Charles Borromeo Church, 391 Ogden St, Bridgeport, CT. Interment will follow at St. Michael's Cemetery, 2205 Stratford Avenue, Stratford, CT.
