Obituary of Alfred Lee Craddock, Sr.

Alfred Lee Craddock, Sr., age 80, of Bridgeport, CT entered into the Glorious presence of the Lord on March 29, 2017 in Bridgeport Healthcare Center, Bridgeport, CT. Alfred was born in Mecklenburgh County Virginia to the late Fred Craddock and the late Vilether Boyd Craddock. He is the beloved husband of Gladys Revis Craddock whom he married over 62 years ago. In addition to his wife, Alfred is survived by his sons Alfred L. Craddock, Jr. (Marita Craddock) and Allison L. Craddock; his daughters, Patricia L. Dodson, Teresa D. Hunter and Mechelle Craddock Spence(Keith Michael Spence); his siblings Anabelle Smith and Albert Craddock, Jr. (Mary Craddock); his grandchildren Thomas J. Dodson, Jr., Andre Craddock, Rashad L. Craddock, Artay Craddock, Demetrius D. Hunter, Kyshe Womack, Aprie Craddock, Ataras Craddock, Andrea Harris (Derik Harris), Demetra Hunter, Keichelle Spence, LaNeshe White(Tim White), Tieisha Craddock, Kemeya Spence, Amber Craddock, Chloe'elle Hamilton,Tyree Holt, and Kobi Spence; his great grandchildren , Ulani Soares, Dayanna Ortiz, D'asia Ortiz, Dayson Ortiz, Demi McPhee, Cameron Miller, Ava Harris, Sage White, Jordyn Jean-Baptiste, Mia Womack, and Ashton Miller; he was predeceased by his daughter the late Carol. V. Craddock, his siblings the late Louise Tucker, the late Ana L. Tatum, the late Fred W. Craddock, the late James E. Craddock, the late Elijah Craddock and his great grandson the late Jhai McClinton; Friends are invited to attend calling hours on Saturday, April 8, 2017 beginning at 9:00 A.M. at the New Hope Missionary Baptist Church, 1100 Park Avenue, Bridgeport, CT, followed by a Service at 10:00 A.M.. Interment will take place in Park Cemetery, 620 Lindley Street, Bridgeport,CT.
