Obituary of Gloria Maria Ocasio

Gloria Maria Ocasio, age 78, of Bridgeport passed away peacefully into the Glorious presence of the Lord on Tuesday, March 28, 2017 in Northbridge Healthcare Center, Bridgeport, CT. Gloria was born in Aguas Buenas, Puerto Rico to the late Santos Ocasio and Providencia Rivera. She is survived by her daughters Maria Carrillo, Luz Garcia, and Elizabeth Garcia; eight grandchildren, one great-grandchild; and a host of other relatives and friends whom will dearly miss her. She is predeceased by her siblings Rafael Ocasio, Ramon Ocasio, Domingo Ocasio, Irene Ocasio, Gladys Ocasio, and Juan Ocasio; her daughter Rosa M. Garcia. Friends may attend calling hours on Saturday, April 1, 2017 from 6-8 P.M. at the Funeraria Luz de Paz, (Peaceful Light Funeral Home), 426 East Washington Ave., Bridgeport, CT.
