Obituary of Libia Puruncajas

Libia Puruncajas, age 54, of Ansonia passed away peacefully into the Glorious presence of the Lord on Saturday, March 25, 2017 in Connecticut Hospice, Branford, CT surrounded by her loving family. Libia was born in Cahuasqui, Ecuador. She is the daughter of Manuel E. Rivera and the late Zoila. In addition to her father she is also survived by her daughters Paola Puruncajas (Eddie Lopez), Alejandra Puruncajas (Christian Orsini), and Jennifer Puruncajas; the father of her three daughters Jamie Puruncajas; her brother Angel R. Rivera; her granddaughters Michelle, Brianna, Analee; her in-laws Jaime Puruncajas, Sr., Maria Puruncajas; her sister-in-law Margarita Salazar; her brother-in-law Marcos Salazar; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends in Ecuador whom will dearly miss her. Friends may attend calling hours on Thursday, March 30, 2017 from 5-8 P.M. at the Funeraria Luz de Paz, (Peaceful Light Funeral Home), 426 East Washington Ave., Bridgeport, CT. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, March 31, 2017 beginning at 10:00 a.m. directly at St. Mary's Church, 25 Sherman St, Bridgeport, CT.
