Obituary of Juana Oquendo

Juana Oquendo, age 77, of Florida returned to Arms of the Lord on Tuesday, March 21, 2017 at Florida Hospital - Fish Memorial in Orange City, FL. Juana was born in Orocovis, Puerto Rico but had relocated to the Bridgeport area many years ago. She is the daughter of the late Manuel Oquendo and Lastenia Lopez. A dedicated member of Good Shepherd Christian Church, she leaves behind a legacy of love and deep faith. Juana is the loving mother of Maria Torres of Paterson New Jersey; the caring grandmother of 12 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren, and 4 great great grandchildren; the sister of Jose A. Oquendo, Jose D. Oquendo, Josefina Lozada, Carmen H. Oquendo, Irene Lopez, and Virginia Lopez. She was predeceased by her sons, Luis and Miguel Arguelles; and her brother, Raul Oquendo. Friends are invited to attend Calling Hours on Tuesday, March 28, 2017 from 5 to 8 p.m. at the Funeraria Luz de Paz.
