Obituary of Eddie Thergood
Eddie Thergood was born to Edward Bridgeforth and Maureen Thergood on February 3, 1963. Eddie was a resident of Bridgeport, Connecticut all of his life. He graduated high school from Skane School in Bridgeport. After graduation, Eddie he became employed with the Kennedy Center working within various departments. He was employed with the Kennedy Center for 36 years. While Eddie preferred to spend the majority of his time watching his favorite movies, he enjoyed going to the Milford Mall on the weekends spending time with friends and buying music, tapes, movies and white socks. Eddie is predeceased by both of his parents Edward and Maureen, his eldest sister, Dawn Marie Thergood (Jarvis). His Brothers, Frank Thergood and Anthony Bridgeforth. He is survived by his siblings Wendy Bridgeforth, Kim Lea Thergood, Doreen Bridgeforth, Sandra (Sandy) Bridgeforth, Melody V. Thergood, Candy A. Thergood and Faith Thergood (Frank) Bell, Anthony Thergood, Rory Thergood and Kevin E. Brown. he had 63 niece's and nephews. Eddie called all 63 “niece” and “nephew”. Friends are invited to attend calling hours on Wednesday, February 22, 2017 from 10 a.m.- 1p.m. at the Funeraria Luz de Paz, (Peaceful Light Funeral Home), 426 E. Washington Ave., Bridgeport, CT. Interment will follow at Lakeview Cemetery, 885 Boston Ave.,Bridgeport, CT.
