Obituary of Miguel Angel Gonzalez

Miguel A. Gonzalez, age 59, of Bridgeport passed away suddenly but entered the Golden Pearly Gates of heaven on February 9, 2017 in New York City, NY. Miguel was born in San Juan, Puerto Rico but had relocated to the Bridgeport area many years ago. He is the son of Amador Gonzalez and Blanca Gonzalez currently of Carolina, Puerto Rico; Miguel Loved the lord with all his heart. He was a member of the Iglesia Cristiana Renacer where he was a member over 16 years. His relationship with his pastors Lourdes and Jose Quiñones extends way beyond to over 30 years. He was the president of the men's association of the church; he loved to be part of the reach out ministry, was a sunday school teacher but above all loved everyone who he touched and the feeling was mutual by all who met him. His joy and heart was contagious and without a doubt a loss not only for his family but for his entire church family. In addition to his parents Miguel is survived by his wife Elena Gonzalez of Bridgeport; His son Rogelio Aponte; Brother Amador Gonzalez, Jr.; sisters Maria D. Acevedo, Nilda M. Acevedo and Rosa H. Gonzalez; three grandchildren Esperanza, Vincent and Jaylene Aponte. Friends are invited to attend calling hours on Monday, February 13, 2017 beginning at 6:00 P.M.
