I'm so sorry for your loss. I met Ricardo a couple of times and also heard many great stories about his humor and fun loving personality.
My son Matt worked with Ricardo at Nunet and went to Platt Tech and studied Manufacturing with him. Broke my heart when Matt told me about the accident, he had just seen him the night before when Matt was getting off and Ricardo was going on. Matt is heart broken. I pray for you and your family. I still can't believe he's gone. RIP Ricky. We worked together at Dunkin Donuts and he was a sweet person, always smiling making people laugh.
To Ricky's family there are no words to express the loss of losing a loved. Only time will heal the heart and knowing that one day WE will see him again in the resurrection. I hope you can find comfort in GOD.

My thoughts go out to all of you during this devastating time. 20 years old is not nearly old enough--it was a life just beginning, and now it has been tragically taken away. I can tell you what brings me peace, however, and I hope this does the same for you as well. Someone's death does cause pain, sometimes unendurable pain, but that is a mere moment when measured up against a person's life. Ricardo lived 20 years. How many beautiful, amazing moments comprised his life? How wonderful to have been given 20 years to fill your lives with joy and love! (And for you to fill his!) With my own loss, I choose not to focus on that tragic moment of losing someone. Instead, I choose to celebrate the life that was shared with me. Choose to celebrate his LIFE and you'll find peace today and in the days to come, even if pain is still a part of it.
