Obituary of Manuela Q. Vadi

Manuela Vadi, age 96 of Bridgeport, returned to the loving arms of the Lord on Friday, January 27, 2017 surrounded by her loving family. She was the beloved wife of the late Joseph Vadi. She was born in Puerto Rico prior to relocating to the Bridgeport area many years ago, where she worked as a seamstress. Manuela is the loving mother of Daniel Vadi and Tina Romanick; and the caring grandmother of 11 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. She is also survived by many other family members and friends that will surely miss her. She was predeceased by her two children, Mercedes Irazarry and Juan Parrilla. Friends and family are invited to attend Calling Hours on Monday, January 30, 2017 from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Funeraria Luz de Paz, 426 E. Washington Ave., Bridgeport, CT 06608. Funeral Services have been scheduled to begin at 10 a.m. at the Funeral Home, followed by her interment in Mt. Grove Cemetery, Easton.
