Obituary of Eduardo M. Torres

Eduardo M. Torres, age 90 recently of Ansonia, entered into eternal rest on Monday, January 16, 2017 at Griffin Hospital in Derby. He was the beloved husband of the late Gladys Gordon Torres. Eduardo was born in Lares, Puerto Rico; son of the late Rafael Torres and Alejandrina Mendez. He proudly served in the Korean War with the United States Army. He is the loving father of Mayra Cardozo and Iris L. Santiago; the caring grandfather of Michael Cardozo, Evelise Cardozo, Hiram Santiago, Eddie Santiago, and Becky Santiago; the adoring great grandfather of Rylan Jace Santiago; the brother of Tito, Felix, Cesario, and Tyding Torres.Eduardo was predeceased by his brothers Ignacio and Liberio Torres. Family and friends are invited to attend Calling Hours from 4 to 6 p.m. on Saturday, January 21, 2017 at the Funeraria Luz de Paz, 426 E. Washington Ave., Bridgeport, CT 06608.
