Obituary of Marlene Resto-Rivera

Marlene Resto-Rivera, age 60, of Bridgeport, passed away into the Glorious presence of the Lord on Monday, January 2, 2017 in her Bridgeport residence while surrounded by her loving family. Marlene was born in Bridgeport, CT to Daniel Resto and Iris (Victor) Figueroa. She is survived by her beloved husband Juan J. Rivera; her son Juan A. Sanchez (Emma); her daughters Jenise Rivera, and Rosaida Rivera; her grandchildren Ramon Sanchez, Eric Sanchez, Abigail Sanchez, Jose A. Vega, Jr., and Marcus G. Perez; and a host of other relatives and friends that will miss her dearly. Friends are invited to attend a visitation on Thursday, January 5, 2017 from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Good Shepherd Christian Church, 725 Hancock Avenue, Bridgeport, CT with a service to follow from 7 p.m. until 9 p.m. Funeral Services have been scheduled for Friday, January 6, 2017 beginning at 10:00 a.m. at Good Shepherd Christian Church.
