Obituary of Ana L. Lopez

Ana L. Lopez, age 83, entered into eternal rest on Monday, January 2, 2017 in her residence, Stratford, CT. She was the beloved wife of the late Aureo Lopez. Ana was born in Las Marias, Puerto Rico to the late Eladio Rivera and Amelia Mendez Caraballo. She is survived by her daughter Maritza Ramos; her siblings, Eduardo Rosado, Rosa Rosado, and Sila Velazquez; one grandchild Ruben Felipe; four great-grandchildren Antonio Felipe, Ruben, Jr. Felipe, Diego Felipe, and Olivia Felipe; and a host of other relatives and friends that will miss her dearly. In addition to her parents she is also predeceased by Rafael Pitre and Carmen Rivera. Friends are invited to attend Calling Hours on Wednesday, January 4, 2017 from 6 - 8 p.m. at the Funeraria Luz de Paz, (Peaceful Light Funeral Home) 426 E. Washington Ave., Bridgeport, CT. Funeral Services have been scheduled for Thursday, January 5, 2017 starting with a Service at 9 a.m. at the Funeral Home. Interment will follow at St. Michael's Cemetery, 2205 Stratford Avenue, Stratford, CT.
