Obituary of Ramona Ortiz

Ramona Ortiz, age 89, beloved mother, grandmother and friend to many passed away into the Glorious presence of the Lord on December 16, 2016 in her home while she was surrounded by her loving family. Ramona was born in Quebradillas, Puerto Rico but had relocated to the Bridgeport area many years ago. Ramona is survived by her sons Luis Batista, Fred Batista, Gonzalo Ortiz, Jr. and William Ortiz; her daughters Nidia Charlton, Luz Ocasio, Maria Maldonado, Anna Batista, Diana Weber and Marta Alfaro: her sister Monserrate Perez; Many grandchildren, great grandchildren and two great great grandchild. and a host of other relatives and friends whom will dearly miss her. Friends are invited to attend calling ours on Tuesday, December 20, 2016 from 11:00 A.M. until 1:00 P.M. Followed by a service in the Funeral Home; Interment will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Trumbull, CT; The Funeraria Luz de Paz, 426 E.
