Obituary of Ismelda Benavides De Saravia

Ismelda Benavides De Saravia, age 54, passed away into the peaceful rest of the Lord on Sunday, November 20, 2016 at St. Vincent's Medical Center, Bridgeport, CT. Ismelda was born in El Salvador to the late Virgilio Vasquez and Adela Benavides. She is survived by her beloved husband Rogel Saravia. In addition to her husband she is also survived by her sons Roger Saravia, Jorge Rivera, and Oscar Rivera; her daughter Fanny Guzman; her siblings Virgilio Benavides , Noel Benavides, Arnulfo Benavides, Rosalba Benavides, Gladis Benavides, and Ana Vitelia Benavides; four grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends that will miss her dearly. Friends are invited to attend calling hours on Tuesday, November 22, 2016 from 6-8 p.m. at the Funeraria Luz de Paz (Peaceful Light Funeral Home) 426 E. Washington Ave., Bridgeport. Funeral Services are scheduled for Wednesday, November 23, 2016 starting at 10:00 a.m. at the Funeral Home followed by her interment at Lakeview Cemetery, 885 Boston Ave, Bridgeport.
