Obituary of Guzmel Martinez

Guzmel Martinez, age 52, of Stratford passed away into the Glorious Presence of the Lord on November 14, 2016 in Bridgeport Hospital, Bridgeport, CT, while surrounded by her loving family. Guzmel was born in Santurce, Puerto Rico to the late Jose Rivera and Monseratte Ramos. She is survived by her beloved husband Luis Martinez; her son Luis A. Martinez; her daughters Elinez Pabon and Linaida Ramos; her grandchild Caleb A. Ramos; her siblings Ana J. Cuevas, Gudelia Ramos, Ismael Rivera, and Lizzette Chamine; and a host of other relatives and friends that will miss her dearly. In addition to her parents she is also predeceased by her siblings Jose A. Rivera, Jose Rivera, Consuelo Rivera, and Adolfo Rivera. Friends are invited to attend calling hours on Sunday, November 20, 2016 from 3-6 p.m. at the Funeraria Luz de Paz, (Peaceful Light Funeral Home), 426 E. Washington Ave, Bridgeport, CT. Funeral Services have been schedule for Monday, November 21, 2016 starting with a service at the Funeral Home at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow at St. Michael's Cemetery, Stratford, CT.
