Obituary of Carmen Miriam Cordero Maldonado

Carmen M. Cordero (Maldonado), age 85, of Bridgeport passed away into the peaceful but Glorious Presence of the Lord on Sunday, October 30, 2016 in St. Vincent's Medical Center. She is the daughter of the late Asuncion Maldonado and the late Felicita DeJesus and was born in Arecibo, Puerto Rico before relocating to the Bridgeport area some time ago. She leaves behind to cherish her memory and legacy, her sons Jose Cordero and Cesar Cordero; her stepdaughters Rosie, Millie, and Muriel; her brother Emmanuel Maldonado, currently of Chicago, IL; four grandchildren Cesar, Michael, Alex, and Jonathan; two great grandchildren Micah and Mikeyla; and a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends who now will bear the burden of the void left in their hearts. She will be missed by all. Friends are invited to attend calling hours on Wednesday, November 2, 2016, 6-9 p.m. at the Funeraria Luz de Paz, (Peaceful Light Funeral Home), 426 East Washington Ave., Bridgeport.
