Steve- as I knew him - always had a warm sweet smile, was kind, soft spoken and took such good care of his patients. We both started out at St Vincents very young - worked on the same floor for a while and eventually worked on different floors. So as it goes we did not see each other as much. But I can tell you - every time we would meet - in the cafeteria or hall we would stop and talk - his face and smile was a familiar and blessed part of my life - I will never forget him. Love and condolences to you all.

My condolences to Steve's family. Steve was a wonderful person who had a smile that lit up the room. It was always a pleasure working with him. Steve was a hard worker and very compassionate with his patients. I will miss him and our whole, St Vincent's family, will miss him terribly. May he RIP.

I am so sorry for your loss - Steve will be missed. I worked with him at St. Vincent's for many years ~ his smile was uplifting, his attitude encouraging, and his presence always made the day, or night, brighter. I am so sorry for the loss of your dear son and brother. I worked with Steve in 10east several years ago and he was by far the best nursing assistant I have worked with at St Vincents. The patients all talked so highly when they spoke of him, please accept my deepest sympathy for your loss.

Today is all Saint's day and tomorrow is all souls day. May Father God have you in his merciful arms. I worked with Steve when I worked on 10 East. He was a very caring and kind individual. The care he delivered to patients at St. Vincent's was exceptional. Since moving to a different department, I would run into Steve from time to time. He always greeted me with a smile and asked how I was doing. I was so saddened to hear of his passing. I wanted to send my deepest condolences to his family and say he was a special part of the St. Vincent's family. His presence will be missed.
