Obituary of Dennis Resto, Sr.

Dennis Resto, Sr., 58, of Bridgeport, entered into eternal rest on August 29, 2016 at St. Vincent's Medical Center. Dennis was born in Bridgeport, CT to Daniel Resto and the late Iris Figueroa. In addition to his father he is also survived by his sons Dennis Resto, Jr.(Sara Barr), and Jonathan Resto (Debbie Flock); his daughter Stephanie Resto (Frank Appleby, Jr.) along with their mother Maria Resto; his siblings Hector D. Resto, Victor Resto, Marlene Resto, Darlene Diaz, Marilyn Diaz, Iraida Williams, Maria T. Ropic, Daisy Resto, and Melissa Resto; his grandchildren Justin Resto, Alanna Resto, Mason Resto, and Emma Resto; a special nephew Kenneth Nesmith one of many that he raised like his own; his sister-in-law Carmen Delgado. Friends are invited to attend calling hours on Friday, September 2, 2016, from 9 a.m. - 12 p.m. at the Funeraria Luz de Paz, (Peaceful Light Funeral Home), 426 E. Washington Ave., Bridgeport, CT. Interment will follow at Lakeview Cemetery, 885 Boston Ave., Bridgeport, CT.
