To the James Family,
Gillie was one in a million, a man that had a good spirit that never wavered in all the years I have known him. Not only was he a good man but a great husband, father and friend to all. Looking at the many pictures that is shown and I'm sure there are more to tell the story of a man that enjoyed life and lived it to the fullest. Gillie will surely be missed but in my heart I believe he has gone HOME to be with the Lord. May his soul rest in peace and to all who knew and loved him have solace that he is now in Gods hands.

My heart hurts for your loss. It is never easy and there are no magical words that can be spoken to ease your pain. Auntie Nereida, Eboni, & Gil,
No words can express the pain that you maybe experiencing right now from the loss of your beloved husband and father. It's still a shock to all of us, but just know that Uncle Gil was loved and will be greatly missed by his family and friends. I will always remember the good times when Uncle Gil would dance and sing motown oldies at family functions. He is now in the presence and comfort of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. I had the pleasure of working with Gil at Sikorsky and am deeply saddened to hear this horrible news. There are no words to console your families grief. Gilbert will truly be missed. My deepest condolences to his entire family. I pray you all find the strength to endure this difficult time.
