Obituary of Ignacio Colon

Ignacio Colon , age 90, of Stratford entered into the Glorious presence of the Lord on Saturday, August 20, 2016 in his home while surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Ponce, Puerto Rico before relocating to the United States many years ago; He is the beloved husband of the late America Garcia; He is survived by his sons Luis R. Colon, Jorge Colon, Miguel Colon, Carmelo Colon, Pedro Colon, Luis A. Colon; Daughters Norma, Alma, Evelyn, Awilda, Carmen and Zulma; many grandchildren, great grandchildren relatives and friends whom will dearly miss him. Friends may join the family for viewing and visitation to be held on Wednesday, August 24, 2016 from 7-9 P.M. at the Funeraria Luz de Paz, (Peaceful Light Funeral Home), 426 East Washington Ave., Bridgeport, CT; Final disposition will take place on St. Michael's Cemetery, Stratford, CT on Thursday, August 25, 2016 at 2:00 P.M.
