Obituary of Gladys Ortiz

Gladys Ortiz, age 51, currently of Stamford, returned to the loving arms of the Lord on Wednesday, June 29, 2016 at NewYork-Presbyterian Medical Center New York, NY Gladys was the beloved wife of Juan C. Mata. She was born in Guatemala before relocating to the Fairfield County area many years ago. In addition to her husband she is also survived by her sons Juan C. Mata, Jr. and Jaimy Aguilar; her daughter Yennifer Aguilar; siblings Moises Medina, Cayin Ceceña, and Aracelis Palma; grandchildren Luis A. Rodriguez, Abraham Rodriguez, and Diego E. Aguilar; and a host of other relatives and friends whom will miss her dearly. Friends are invited to attend calling hours on Thursday, June 30, 2016 from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. at Iglesia Misionera El Olivar, 510 Summit St., Bridgeport, CT. Funeral Services are scheduled for Friday, July 1, 2016 starting at 10:00 a.m. at the Iglesia Misionera El Olivar. Her interment will follow at St. John's Cemetery, 223 Richards Ave, Norwalk, CT.
