Obituary of Maria Rivera

Maria Rivera, age 44, of Bridgeport passed away into the Glorious Presence of the Lord on June 7, 2016 in Yale New Haven Hospital while surrounded by her loving family. She was born in New York, New York to Iraida Rivera. In addition to her mother she is also survived by her son Antonio Colon; her daughters Gina Colon, Ashley Colon, and Charlene Reyes; her siblings Robert DeJesus, Georgina DeJesus, Miguel DeJesus, Jose Vazquez, Marisol Vazquez, Diana Herelda, Felix Rivera, and Jorge Almovar; her grandchildren Jasmine Reyes, Jocelyn Reyes, and Zaiden Villafane, Jr.; and a host of other relatives and friends whom will dearly miss her. Friends are invited to attend calling hours on Sunday, June 12, 2016 from 2-4 P.M. At the Funeraria Luz de Paz, (Peaceful Light Funeral Home), 426 E. Washington Ave, Bridgeport, CT.
