Obituary of Paula Vargas
Paula Vargas, age 89, of Bridgeport entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, May 31, 2016 at St. Joseph's Manor, Trumbull, CT. She was born in Quebradillas, Puerto Rico to the late Ramon Gonzalez and the late Carmen Nieves. Paula is the loving mother of Maria Arocho, Lidia Nieves, Martin Vargas, Fernando Vargas, and Monserrate Nazario; Sister of Antonio Gonzalez. She is also survived by her thirteen grandchildren; twenty six great-grandchildren; seven great-great grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends that will miss her dearly. In addition to her parents she is also predeceased by her brother Friends are invited to attend calling hours on Monday, June 6, 2016, from 11 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. at the Funeraria Luz de Paz, (Peaceful Light Funeral Home), 426 E. Washington Ave., Bridgeport, CT. Funeral Mass will begin at 1:00 p.m. at St. Mary's Church, Bridgeport, CT. Interment will follow at Park Cemetery, Bridgeport, CT.
