Obituary of Maria Cortez

Maria Cortez, age 60 of Bridgeport, entered suddenly into rest on Sunday, May 22, 2016 at her residence. She was born in Bridgeport, daughter of the late Abraham and Alejandria Cortes. Maria is the caring sister of Anna Castro, Carmen Cortes, and Ramona Arteaga; and the loving cat mother of Gigi and Princess who she adored. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, family members, and friends that will dearly miss her. Friends and family are invited to attend a Memorial Service in Maria's honor on Friday from 5- 7 p.m. at the Harborview Apartments, 376 E. Washington Ave., Bridgeport, CT 06608.
