Obituary of Carlos Manuel Rodriguez

Carlos Manuel Rodriguez, age 71, of Bridgeport entered into eternal rest on Thursday, May 19, 2016 at St. Vincent's Medical Center, Bridgeport, CT. Carlos was born in Aguas Buenas, Puerto Rico to the late Jose E. Rodriguez Valdez and the late Leonor Fonseca Zayas. He is survived by his beloved wife Maria Esther Rodriguez. In addition to his wife he is also survived by his daughter Maria E. (Mamita) Carrasquillo and her husband David Carrasquillo; his son Carlos (Baby) Rodriguez, Jr.; granddaughter Shanel M. (La Nena de Papa) Carrasquillo his siblings J. Rafael (Rafo) Rodriguez, Jose Rodriguez, Felix (Felo) Rodriguez, Miguel Rodriguez, Carmen Lydia Rodriguez, Francisco (Pancho) Rodriguez, Ismael (Maelo) Rodriguez, Carmen Maria (Mery) Rodriguez, Maria Socorro (Coca)Rodriguez,Lucas Rodriguez, Reneida (Rene) Dejesus, Luisa Rodriguez, and Salvador (Salva) Rodriguez; and a host of other relatives and friends that will miss him dearly. Friends are invited to attend calling hours on Tuesday, May 24 from 9 a.m. - 12 p.m. at the Funeraria Luz de Paz, (Peaceful Light Funeral Home), 426 E. Washington Ave., Bridgeport, CT. The Funeral Mass has been scheduled for 12:30 p.m. at St. Charles Church followed by interment in Park Cemetery, Bridgeport, CT.
