Obituary of Blanca M. Rivera

Blanca M. Rivera, age 73, currently of Stratford, CT passed away into the peaceful rest of the Lord on May 1, 2016 in St. Vincent's Medical center while surrounded by her loving family. Blanca was born in Utuado, Puerto Rico but had relocated to the Bridgeport area some time ago. She had most recently resided in Florida for the past 9 years before coming to Stratford where she spent time close to her family whom she loves so much. She is the beloved wife of Herminio Rivera; In addition to her husband, Blanca is survived by her sons Angel, Herminio, Hector and Miguel Rivera; her daughters Sandra Rivera and Gloria Gonzalez; 23 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren, and a host of other relatives and friends whom will dearly miss her. Friends are invited to attend calling hours on Friday, May 6, 2016 beginning at 11:00 A.M.at the Funeraria Luz de Paz, 426 E.
