Obituary of Damian Ramirez Garcia

Damian Ramirez Garcia, age 78, of Bridgeport beloved son of the Late Alvaro Ramirez and the Late Paula Garcia passed away into the peaceful rest of the Lord on Friday, September 22, 2011 in Bridgeport Hospital. Damian was born in Mayaguez, Puerto Rico but had moved into the Bridgeport area since the late 1950s. He is survived by his son David Ramirez; Daughter Maritza Ramirez and Nereida Ramirez; brothers Miguel (Mike) Ramirez and Antonio Ramirez; sisters Rosa I. Valentin and Esther Caban; 13 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends who will dearly miss him. He was predeceased by his grandson the late Cristian O. Ramirez and his sister the Late Nilda Echeverri; Friends are invited to attend calling hours on Wednesday, September 28, 2011 beginning at 10:00 A.M. followed by a Funeral Service at 1:00 P.M. at the Funeraria Luz de Paz, ( La Funeraria de NUESTRO Pueblo ), 426 E.
