My condolences to the Ramos Family. Luis was a very dear friend whom I share many laughs with. We lovingly gave him the nickname "colgate" because of is big shiny smile. He would smile bigger and laugh harder every time he heard us call him this. You will be missed my friend, but I know that I will see you once again when its my time to leave this earth. Rest in the arms of Jesus and rejoice knowing that you have finished the race and God is speaking those wonderful words to you, "Well done my good and faithful servant." Hallelujah!!!! Our lost is heaven's gain. To Randy and Sarai...I encourage you to follow the footsteps of your wonderful father; serve the Lord with all your heart. God is good and every thing is directed by him. Love Him and seek Him in Spirit and in truth...this is what your father, Luis desired most for both of you. God bless you and help you as you grieve the lost of your earthly father. Keep trusting your heavenly father and let him help you in the years ahead.

My deepest condolences to the Ramos family. It was a great blessing to have known Luis Ramos. He was truly a servant of the Lord. His humor and love for children was beyond amazing. It was always a wonderful experience to have him in our church preaching to the children. He always had an amazing humor and wonderful smile that portrayed God's love. El Pastor Luis E. Ramos y mi persona, por la gracia de Dios (Como el siempre decia) trabajamos juntos en el Ministerio de la Juventud de la Seccion de Connecticut SED/AD y me recuerdo que teniamos un compromiso con la juventud en La Iglesia El Buen Pastor de Danbury Pastor Cesar Velez y el carro de Luis estaba bien chocado en una manera que de verdad no se podia conducir porque era muy peligroso y las luces no funcionaban. Y Luis estaba determinado de llegar y cumplir con Dios y la Juventud. Yo le rogue que no vayamos porque el pudise recibir una multa pero el dijo, tenemos que ir. Y haci nos fuimos en su carro todo chocado y llegamos a la Iglesia. Luis predico y nos invitaron a tomar cafe y alli tambien estuvimos y recuerdesen que no teniamos luz en el carro y en el camino de vuelta hacia casa, Bridgeport, el y yo comenzamos a cantantar victoria porque estabamos saliendo de Danbury y la policia no nos paro y de repente, te imaginas quien nos paro? La policia y detuvieron el carro y nostros tuvimos que llamar la hermana que nos invito a su casa nos vino a recoger y nos llevo a nuestra casa. llegamos como las dos de la madrugada para trabajar el dia siguiente a las 6am. Nos reimos toda la noche y lo lindo que la policia no le dio una multa. Pero si ustedes podiesen ver el carro, era chocado como un carro de demolition derby. Luis era tan comico, loco, atrevido y talentoso que el mismo reparo el carro y por toda la Seccion de Connecticut y mas aya, por la gracia de Dios, Luis se destacaba para hacer la voluntad de Dios. Luis era un hombre dedicado sin limites para hacer la voluntad de Dios. Luis, nunca olvidare su sonrisa y la mananera que me miraba con esos ojos grandes y decia, Carlitos Dios te bendiga. Luis me enseno como ser un adorador de Espiritu y de Verdad. El carro era el altar de alabaza, adoracion y oracion antes de llegar a cual quiel lugar que ibamos ya estabamos muy bendecido de parte de Dios. Le Doy gracias al Senor por haberte conocido y compartido en el ministerio de la ninez, en la Iglesia El Buen Pastor, Bpt. CT Pastor Simon Castillo. Tambien, en el Ministerio de la Juventud de la Iglesia Principe de Paz, Bpt. CT Pastor Moses Mercedes y en el Ministerio de la Juventud, Embajadores de Cristo a nivel Seccional y Distrital del Distrito Hispano del Este de las Asambleas de Dios. Todo para la gloria de Dios. Luis nunga podre olvidarme de ti y los bien tiempos. Descansa en paz y hasta luego mi querido hermano y amigo. Saludame a Jesucristo y a todos...

Pastor Ramos always made it a point to say hello with his great sense of humor. Just when you thought he was not around, he came out of nowhere to say "Hellooo" or sing his "My name is Luis and I drive the bus" jingle. He will be truly missed, but we know that he is making God laugh right now. God bless the Ramos family in this sad time, but know that the comfort of the Holy Spirit is with you and we will see him again in Heaven.

Luis was a wonderful friend of Christian Revival Church. Today we suffer and ache for the pain of losing him. Our lost is heaven's gain!!! We remember Luis as a warm, loving, fun loving, God loving man whose prime joy was to bring joy to the heart of friends especially the children. We'll never forget the times spent together - the parrandas at Christmas time, children's festivals and services. His ear-to-ear smile and always encouraging words.
