Obituary of Angel Negron

NEGRON Angel M. Negron Sr., age 73 of Bridgeport, son of the late Joaquin Negron and the late Juana Santos has entered into the peaceful rest of the Lord on Thursday, June 9, 2011 in his residence. Angel was born in Barranquitas, Puerto Rico, but moved into the Bridgeport area many years ago. He had been employed for many years at the Bridgeport Housing Authority where he retired from years ago. Angel was a great man with a wonderful spirit and all who knew him would agree. He is survived by his sons, Angel M. Negron and Ramon Roig; daughters, Edna Roig, Nilda Cruz and Maritza Roig; ten grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends who will dearly miss him. Friends are invited to attend calling hours on Monday, June 13, 2011 from 7 to 9 p.m. in the Funeraria Luz de Paz, (La Funeraria de NUESTRO Pueblo), 426 E. Washington Ave, Bridgeport. Funeral services have been scheduled for Tuesday, June 14, 2011 beginning at 10a.m. in the funeral home. Interment will follow the service in Lakeview Cemetery, Bridgeport.
