Donelle, Every since you were brought to us I knew you were special. You were one of the most wonderful people I have had the pleasure of knowin. I was always so proud to tell people that you are my nephew. I'm guna miss your smile n your laugh. To my Family and Friend's, I want to leave you these words. Donelle was born 3 month after I left Bridgeport but it didn't mean that I didn't love him. The only regret I have was that I didn't get to meet him sooner. I guess we will meet in Heaven when I get there. I would like to think that you escaped from Heaven to bless Gina with your birth. Although I didn't have the pleasure of teaching Donelle, it saddens me to know that this little boy will no longer be with us. My heart is broken. Donelle was an angel on Earth. It was my profound honor and pleasure to know him and be his first grade teacher. He was one of the dearest, kindest children I have ever known. Even at his young age he had so much to teach others about how to be the very best person you can be. He cared so much for others and we in turn grew to love him deeply. God Saw You... God saw you tired, when a cure was not be. So he wrapped his arms around you, and whispered, "come to me". You didn't deserve what you went through, so he gave you rest. God's garden must be beautiful, he only takes the best. And when I saw you sleeping, so peaceful and free from pain I could not wish you back to suffer that again. Rest in peace Donelle!

Gina & Millie, No one knows why bad things happen to those so innocent and whose life has hardly begun. For now it will have to remain the painful mystery that it is. Losses like this can make us challenge our faith; however, this is precisely the time when our faith needs to be its strongest. I am praying that your faith will help you through this very difficult time and help you know that God's purpose, whatever it may be, is at work. My dear Donelle, On May 30th 2003 the Lord sent you to us, we had no idea that he was only going to allow us to keep you for such a short period of time. Although we are saddened by your departure we are grateful to God for blessing us with your big heart and inviting personality. It has truly been an honor to have met such a loving child and I thank God for the opportunity of allowing me to be a part of your life.
