Obituary of Jose Torres
TORRES Jose A. Torres, age 84 of Bridgeport, entered the blessed Gates of the Heavens above on Saturday, May 7, 2011 at Bridgeport Hospital. Jose was born in Ciales, Puerto Rico before moving into the Bridgeport area many years ago. He was the son of the late Armando Torres and the late Maria Figueroa. He is survived by his son, Karl Jones; his brothers, Candido Torres, Ismael Torres, Roberto Torres and Norberto Torres; sisters, Ana Torres, Besnardina Torres and Isabel Torres; four grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, newphews relatives and friends who will sorely miss him. Friends are invited to attend calling hours on Monday, May 9, 2001 from 10 a.m. until 1 p.m. in the Funeraria Luz de Paz (la Funeraria de NUESTRO Pueblo), 426 East Washington Ave., Bridgeport, followed by a service in the funeral home. Interment will follow the Service in Park Cemetery, Bridgeport.
