Obituary of Alonso MarquezSr

Alonso Marquez, Sr., Age 77, of Bridgeport has entered the gates of heaven from ST. Mary's Vitas Hospice Care Facility in Waterbury, CT. Alonso was born in San Sebastian, Puerto Rico prior to moving into the Bridgeport area many years ago. He is the son of the late Idalio Marquez and the late Cesaria Rivera; He is survived by his sons Nevil Marquez and his wife Aidxa, Cesar Marquez and his wife Rafaela, Norberto Marquez and his wife Kathy and Louis Marquez and his wife Dora; 15 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends who will sorely miss him. He was predeceased by his sons the late Alonso Marquez Jr., the late Richard Marquez and the late Manuel Marquez Friends are invited to attend calling hours on Monday, May 9, 2011 from 7-9 P.M. at the Funeraria Luz de Paz, ( la Funeraria de NUESTRO Pueblo ), 426 E.
