Obituary of Ramon Villa

Ramon Villa, age 71, of Bridgeport passed into the peaceful rest of the Lord on Tuesday, June 22, 2010 in Bridgeport Hospital. Ramon was born in Añasco, Puerto Rico but had moved into the Bridgeport area many years ago. He is the beloved husband of Sylvia Villa whom he married over 49 years ago. He had been employed at the Remington Producrts for many years. Ramon loved to Play Dominos, Pokeno and anything else that came his way. But lets not forget his love of the New York Yankees!. In addition to his wife, Ramon is survived by his sons Jose R. Villa and his wife Rosie of Bridgeport and Alberto Villa and his wife Adriana of Bridgeport; his daughter Claribel Villa of Bridgeport; Sisters Irma Villa and Natividad Villa; 5 grandchildren, one great grandchild and a host of other relatives and friends who will dearly miss him. Friends are invited to attend calling hours on Saturday, June 26, 2010 from 4-6 P.M. at the Funeraria Luz de Paz, ( La Funeraria de NUESTRO Pueblo) 426 E. Washington Ave., Bridgeport; Final Disposition will be held privately.
